I have a D300 on order, but the complete lack of credible D300 samples is certainly casting doubts in my mind of what to expect. To my understanding, even Nikon has not displayed D300 samples during the announcement events. They did so with the D3, but not D300. I found that very odd... Why would Nikon display D3 images, but not D300 images? When I read that, I began to suspect the noise levels will be on-par with previous Nikons. Otherwise, why wouldn't Nikon show them off? Finally, there have been MANY samples posted here of the D3. Yet, the D300 samples are nowhere to be found. Very odd. -- David
