I was going to order the Sigma 120-400mm HSM lens from my Local camera store for my a900, but have been put off by the large amount of replies to a posting about a a850 being broken by using a sigma lens when doing AF Micro Adjustments. I have not long sorted out and been given a replacement a900 by Sony and i'm dead worried in causing a problem if i have to use AF Micro adjustment on camera with or other Sigma lens . Has anyone here used the Sigma 120-400mm HSM and done AF Micro Adjustment and had no problems with their other Minolta/ Sony lens afterwards. I would love to get the sony 70-400mm G Lens but its out of my price range at the moment but the Sigma i can afford. I have read good reports of its performance in the BJP. Anyone have experience of the combination ?? Thanks Jonathan.
