I've been using the a700 for a year and a half and have had no problems with it.
I love the camera.
My shutter has probably exceeded 30-thousand clicks...no where near the advertised maximium, which I believe is 100-thousand.
Anybody (probably pros) surpassed 100k yet? If so, any indication of problems?
I appreciate the more delicate nature of the Digital cameras, but want to mention that my Minolta SRT 101, bought in 1967 and used often in deserts, freezing mountain ranges and lots of rain, still operates like new. For sure I've run more than 100k frames through it, and now my son uses it. Never had it serviced.
Have certainly run more than 50k through my XK...still works just fine but seldom use it now.
