After reading: Caution, can 3rd party lenses damage my a850, I have to ask some questions ; 1: Does Sony have to honor fixing a camera that is put out of adjustment from using third party lenses? 2: Does Sigma have a problem with their Plastic gears?(stripping as I have heard reported.) 3: A lens rental agency stated that they had many failures, some when they themselves were testing them.Anybody else find this to be true? 4:If Sigma doesn't pay royalties to Sony, are the ID numbers legit or troublesome? It seems that the IQ on Sigma is good but these and other factors are troublesome...Rimshot
