my friend warned me that adobe camera raw post-processing to jpeg from a900 raw that would cause more noise than another. i decided to test three different softwares to post-process the raw from my sony a900 without modifying color:

1) image data lightbox sr by sony (dslr-a900 body come with free software on cd)
2) aperture by apple
3) camera raw by adobe within photoshop/bridge cs3

i learned that sony's image data lightbox is better than aperture and adobe camera raw in noise and color but aperture is better than adobe camera raw. see for yourself with my three samples.

i used sony a900 w/ cz 24-700mm f2.8
1/40 shutter • f2.8 • iso 1600 • 70mm
you could notice the sample by sony give reddish on skin with shade and background is yellowish. you could notice aperture and acr give greenish shade on skin but different color background.

you can decide for yourself after you judge to witness before jump the conclusion to blame a900. the question how you post-process the raw wisely or properly?
