I'm very very disappointed that the NP-FM55H battery used by Sony SLRs is different yet very very similar in size and shape to the NP-FM50 batteries that work in other Sony cameras and camcorders. I need to vent my frustration! I have about 4 NP-FM50 batteries from other Sony devices, and if these batteries could be used in new Sony SLR cameras, that would be a very significant attraction and reason for me to get a Sony SLR. Seriously. As it is, I am so disgusted that I may say "forget it" and go with another brand of SLR. Argh!!! Anyone else disappointed or have any info? I think I read that new FP-FM55H batteries can at least work in older equipment that takes the NP-FM50, can anyone confirm this?
