I had posted this pic before, but since now everybody talks about a 1.25 Crop factor, I repost. The pic below is taken with the kit lense at 18mm on a full frame (film) camera and shows how much would be visible (vignetting) on a 1.25 camera: http://perso.wanadoo.fr/goseberg/dpreview/ff/crop2.jpg Just showing the 1.5 crop portion: http://perso.wanadoo.fr/goseberg/dpreview/ff/crop4.jpg Just showing the 1.25 crop portion: http://perso.wanadoo.fr/goseberg/dpreview/ff/crop3.jpg We can see there is some slight vignetting with the 1.25 sensor at 18mm, but it's not a lot. I guess the lense could be redesigned, without too much effort, to cover the full :-) 1.25 sensor.
