Hello,

I'm serious planning on adding a K7 to my equipment list and would like to use it as a street photography/ general to touristy type of picuture taking.

Mostly, I 'll get the two WR kit lens as a backup but I want to use the K7 with primes, especially those pancakes lenses.

I do need some education on how things work in Pentax land. I assume that AF confirmation works with legacy lenses. How does it work, do the selected AF points light up, is there an audible beep when you've manually focused properly?

In live view, is the a live view boost selection that will raise the brightness so that one can manually focus via the LCD image, even with legacy MF lenses?

Regarding IBIS, how does K7 handle legacy lenses, can yo specify the focal length of the lense so that the IS can apply the appropriate amount of sensor offset?

I assume metering works normally for all Pentax mounts.

What I'm looking to use the K7 for is a smallish but rugged setup that I can walk around and shoot from WA to say 100-135mm FOV. Yes, I'm aware to the 1.5X. To make my setup small, I'm thinking only primes. So, I thinking three lenses, a 24-28 FOV, a standard and something more for portraits 100-135 mm FOV . They don't have to be DA they can be FA and I don't mind manual focusing lenses.

Thanks
