Next up on the list, if my wife doesn't wring my neck when the newest arrival gets here next week, is a macro 50.
There are two contenders, the Pentax 50 and the Sigma 50.
Both have good reps, both do 1:1, and both are made by companies which have provided me with good or better lenses before.
Currently, we're looking at, at Adorama, $299 for the Sigma and $419 for the Pentax.
My question: is the Pentax worth the $120 difference?
Having just purchased one lens, I won't be buying before January, so we may see a price shift or two before then, too.
