Hello All,

I am thinking of purchasing Pentax K-X kit as my first DSLR. I currently use canon G9 which works great but i am not able to take photos of my 16 month old son as he moves too fast and i always miss the moment. My son is way faster than my G9's auto focus mechanism. Would moving to a DSLR solve that issue?

Also, I need suggestions on what other lens should i buy with the Camera? I want to take photos of my son and some scenery when i travel.
