As you can seen the 16-50 does not make top failing lens.
the 50-135 would be mid table.

So as I've previously stated thought he 16-50,50135 and 17-70 have poorer reliability records they are not at the level where any manufacturer would do anything about it.

They are all within acceptable level (maybe not from our point of view).
