One of the poster's, "scunning14", posted some sample photos from his Gary Fong Lightsphere:

These impressed me so much that I had a look at the Gary Fong webpage and this convinced me that it was worth getting the Lightsphere. Here are a couple of samples using the cloudy version bounced. Note, I ordered the "Gary Fong Lightsphere Universal Starter Kit Diffuser" off an Australian EBay seller but it appears that I received two cloudy versions rather than one cloudy and one clear - even though one is labelled cloudy and the other clear, they look the same to me. The two that I have may even be the clear version as I do not have the other version to compare them against.

Anyway, here are a couple of quick samples of my daughter and also my brother's dog got into the act in a few: All with the K20D + DA*16-50 f2.8 + AF540FGZ and Gary Fong Lightsphere in vertical mode.

From the results so far, I cannot recommend it highly enough. Almost non existent harsh facial shadows, nice even lighting, true colours etc.
