A few weeks ago I was thinking about buying the SMC Pentax-DA 35mm f/2.8 macro, which is a mighty fine lens. But if you don't need 1:1 then the Aus Jena (Carl Zeiss) 35mm f/2.4 Flektogon MC Electric (M42) is a much better option IMHO: cheaper and it focuses down to 1:2. Of course, no AF and auto diaphragm, but it's fun nonetheless.
