I want to re-enter this thread since I just saw a KR mount lens on sale on "seabay" where seller claims they will fit, amongst others, Pentax DSLR's.

I don't think the seller with seabay business want to wreck his/her own reputation on purpose, however, he/she may not know about this KR misfit.

I have notified this particular seller about this problem. In case any of you want to bid on it you may want to ask if the lens has been modified to fit the Pentax DSLR's. (See how, in this thread)

By the way, I experienced the same problem when I tried to fit an old KR mount Kalimar lens from my ME Super to my K10D. If I had not found this particular thread, I probably would have spent a lot of money to get help from a pro' to solve the problem.
