Pentax, can we PLEASE have a firmware update for the K10D, indeed all cameras, that allows the shot counter to have 5 digits? I don't want to rename every shot I save, but I am up to 16,000 shots and the standard file name from the camera is duplicating thanks to the clock resetting at 10,000.
How hard could this be to do? If they rate the shutter mechanism for 100,000 actuations, they should have a shot counter that goes to 99,999 before rolling back to zero!
