At the IFA show in Germany, I played with a new Ansmann battery grip, the Ansmann P-100. It has a very nice feel to it and includes a rechargeable lithium battery pack. The fit and finish is excellent, and it is very comfortable to hold. The only drawback is that it does not offer a vertical shutter release button. Still, at the price, it might be a worthwhile addition for some: http://www.amazon.de/Ansmann-Batteriehandgriff-P-100-inkl-Akku/dp/B000V5GRY2 I'll probably get one as soon as I can order one for international delivery - I couldn't pick one up while I was in Germany.
