Specifically the "castle" and "wall" shot. These do clearly show a correlation to the MTF charts. When I received the lens two months ago (purchased in a shop just like you do) the results were pretty much the same. Due to the dismal quality I send the lens to Pentax and received a statement that they will replace the lens. After 4 weeks and 6 weeks I complained about the slow procedure. The last response was that they would send me "a" lens. I'm pretty much sure it is the old one ... untouched.
