I got the Magic Lantern Guide for the Dynax 7D today, and I went to page 187 where flash photography and camera exposure modes is explained. It says in the manual mode, and i Quote:
"Just as in ambient light photography, you can select any aperture in M mode. Your choice of shutter speed is the same as in S mode. To get a good exposure, watch the scale in the data panel in the viewfinders. When the marker is at the zero point, you should get a good flash exposure according to the camera's metering system. When the marker is at + or - point, you'll get some over or under exposure, respectively.
This technique is not particularly complicated. When the scale indicates that you cannot get a good flash exposure at a desired aperture/shutter speed change to a different ISO setting and try again."
As allready written in another thread, the exposure meter is dead when the flash is on. So again, Did the author realy have a Dynax 7D, or am I missing something.
Regards,
Gerry
