This is a UK related issue.

With the growing threat of terrorism many of our towns and cities in the Uk are on high alert. Yesterday, a friend of mine, who was taking pictures of his friends in a High Street in England, was stopped by the police and questioned. Fortunately, he was able to show the images to prove that it was only his friends he had photographed. The officer was polite and told him that the town is under alert against terrorism. My photographer friend was then asked to give his details to the officer, to which he declined as he didn't want his name to on the records. What would you have done?

Have you had a similar experience when photographing in a city centre? My friend has brown skin ...... could this be the cause of suspicion? If so, then be warned!
