The message I linked to discusses the tool ISOFix 1.2. It can be downloaded from here: http://www.vandrasik.com/software/ I've just tried it myself. Unfortunately this version relies on a specific MS .NET framework (1.1.x). I installed .NET 2.0 but the ISOFix setup insisted on the old .NET version. I then tried a similar tool, NikonExifFix: http://www.apidya.com/NikonExifFix.zip No problems here, instant success. It has been written for the D70, though - I don't know if it works for D50 files, too.
