I've been trying to caputure birds in flight. Hit and miss, for sure. Usually miss.
I've tried high speed autofocus (single) and that seems to work well; I thought multi high speed focus would be best, but so far I haven't had any success with it. Haven't tried Continuous Autofocus because I've never liked it on other cameras, but maybe Pany does better.
I usually keep the Exposure Value at 0 or +1/3. I've tried Spot Metering but find difficult to use when trying to place a tiny cross-hair on a tiny, moving, distant subject.
I've read a bit on the subject but if anyone has tips geared to using a FZ camera, particularly the FZ18, I'd really appreciate it.
