I keep my FZ3 image stablization on all the time (#2), so it's activated when ever I take a shot no matter what the zoom length. I do know to shut if off when the camera is on a tripod, but I'm wondering if there are other reasons not to keep IS on all the time. I'm asking this in relation to obtaining quality images, not that IS uses battery power. Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
