As the subject states, I'm looking at comments from 5DII users that primarily shoot indoor events (not necessarily weddings) - but any light challenged environment. How would you rate the auto focus system of the camera? The shutter blackout?

I'm on the fence between the 5DMII and its FF vs. the 1DIII and its autofocus speed. I don't shoot sports/wildlife but mainly indoors, events, family and portraits.

Every comment I have read on the 1DIII is raving about its FPS and autofocus speed, but I am afraid that I will lose the clarity/resolution that I would get with the FF sensor on the 5DII.

The lenses I intend to use:

70-200 2.8 IS
80mm 1.8
50mm 1.4

Maybe another prime in the 100 range, but that's a long time coming.

Thanks for your advice.
