Hi everyone,

After 6 years in Boston, my wife and I are definitely back in France. Before we left, we did a one month must-do trip in Yellowstone and the Southwest, mostly camping. It was truly one of the best trip I have ever done. So, I'd like to share some modest pics (well, after looking at Michael Fatali's gallery in Sprindale, UT...).

On this trip, I had the 5DII, 16-35mm, 24-105mm and 100-400mm, and a tripod. I used mostly the 24-105. Awesome camera of course and way more than I can master. The three available custom programs were very useful.
One thing I learned is that sand is BAD, much worse than I anticipated. We had a sandstorm in Monument Valley. My 24-105 focus ring now does a weird "crack". And don't use an ultralight tent as well!

Any comments are wellcome.

Around Monument Valley. Don't be stupid, don't take your camera out under those circumstances.

Beam in Upper Antelope Canyon. Honestly, one crazy place with too many people. Why do we have to share???

Instead, go to Lower Antelope Canyon:

Beam in Spooky slut Canyon. A guide told us it was quite rare. Is that true?

Every park should do that, buses running on propane and no car.

Sunset point, Bryce NP. Very few holes in the cloudy sky. Almost unbelievable place. I think men did that!
