I like the DPP profile and simplicity. For my 5DII photos, I did Raw – DPP – 16TIFF – ACR in Photoshop Element 6 – PSE 6 output as jpg.

My questions are:

1. Is there any evidence of image quality loss or adjustment limitation due to LR/PS processing a 16bit TIFF not original raw file?
2. Unrelated – to shot raw, should I set the NR to none or as standard in the camera setting?
