Hi Guys!
I own a 5DMk II and I am a hobbyist. I would love to start doing portraits and maybe make some money in the future. I do have a 50mm 1.8 lens, and I am thinking of getting the 24-70 2.8 for myself this Xmas :-) Is this good enough? I have several F4 lenses (70-200mm f4, 24-105mm f4 and the 17-40mm f4) but someone told me that the 2.8 is way better.

Also is there a specific filter that you guys can suggest, I only use UV, Circular polarizer and ND on my lenses at this time.
