I am looking to purchase a digital camera for our carpet business. We want to photograph our entire stock and transfer it onto an online database. We are having trouble with deciding which camera we should purchase

Please follow the link and note the zoom function. We want a camera that delivers pictures of this calibre and we want to be able to zoom without the picture pixilating. This is the standard that we want to a camera to match. Our carpets are normally between 3 x 2.50 meters so we need a lens that suits that.

A camera expert informed me that the Canon 5D Mark II or Mark I is the only camera that can match that standard as shown on the link. However, I cannot help but wonder that there are other cameras that can do it as well. There must be some cheaper cameras that can match that standard.

So please advise me on which camera I should purchase. They have to be at the equivalent standard as the link shows.
