Another price drop in Germany. After announcing the 5D cashback (300€) some weeks ago the price fell another 350€ today. Now you can get a 5D plus 24-105/4 for 3,099€ (after cashback 2,799€). And this figure includes already 16% VAT. see here http://www.mediamarkt.de/multimedia-prospekt/mmp_kw1206_04.pdf Looks like Canon is not satisfied with the current sales figures. Not very funny for early adopters who burnt almost 1,000€ in 6 months.
