I use auto iso a lot but I have noticed it could definitely be improved. First of all it always chooses at least iso 200. Even when the sun is shining and their is plenty of light for quick shutter. I wish I could tell it to push down to iso 100 if the shutter speed is quite high at iso 200.

Next itll never go past iso 800. For some users that might be ok, but I wish their was an option to allow it to go past this.

Next up, it really should behave differently for IS vs. non-IS lenses or at least allow the user to choose a minimum shutter speed. For example, it seems to think 1/50 is fast enough shutter on my 50mm 1.8, but I know for a fact I want a higher minimum because the 50mm is really 80mm on a cropped body.

I understand some of the nikon cameras have a better implementation. Is this true as well? It would be nice to have some kind of options to set how auto-iso should work.
