I tend to use Center Weighted Average and have never really given it much thought. Most of my pictures tend to be landscapes.

I would be interested to hear others thoughts on the various exposure modes.

Some information that I have come accross recently indicates that, when you use Evaluative Mode, you don't actually know which focus point was used for exposure.

I get the impession that Paritial Mode is most in favour these days so I may be a little off the mainstream using Center Weighted Average.

I aslo saw recently that ETTL II doesn't make use of any of the focus points. My Sunpak flash seemed to deliver pretty much random results on my 300D but works very well on my 450D. I put it down to being able to explicitly select the exposure mode on the 450D (a very annoying omission on the 300D) but the way in which the orignal ETTL worked may also have been a factor.
