Hello,
I would like to learn more about photography and expand my activities and capabilities. I have a major interest in wide-angle shooting. Therefore, I was initially interested in the Panasonic DMC-LX3, which combines 24mm wide angle capability, relatively good low light shooting in a very convenient compact format.
For a similar price, however, I can get the Canon EOS100D. Being entirely new in SLR. I am a little confused about the lens sytem. So, in the box, it comes with a kit lens (18-55)? So, I could shoot even wider than with the panasonic, right? Any ideas on the overall quality of the lens that is supplied with this camera? I presume this camera will be a good choice for shooting vast mountain landscapes and in low light conditions?
I prefer the small size of the Panasonic, but the prosumer features of the Canon. Any advise on what would be the best overall choice?
Thanks
