This is very strange indeed. When I set my Canon XSi to sports mode dail, I can shoot rapidly at 3fps. However, I cannot do the same when my camera is on Manual/ Aperature-priority/ shutter-priority advance mode. The camera will take just 2 rapid shots,,,,then a delay...viewfinder has BUSY indicator. I have reset the camera and the result is still the same.
Has anyone experience this? Any educated guess. I have treid to mimic the sports mode setting ( AI Servo, continuous shooting) under m/AV/TV but I'm still getting that annoying pauses after just 2 shots.
Better, can you verify this with your own Canon XSi. I will try to post a video example later when I have more time. In the mean time, I want to know this is not normal right?
