I have a problem with the battery level display on my 500D. Every time I charge the battery using the charger (and wait till the light goes green), the battery display never shows a full battery; always one down from the "full" setting.

So I thought it was the battery. Yesterday I purchased two batteries + grip. Came home, charged them both overnight. Plugged them into the grip, and when I turn on the camera -- I get the same level of battery as with the original battery, that is one level down from the full charge.

Is there a way for me to reset this on the camera so it will read the battery again? Or are my batteries just bad.
