Do you think that if Nikon introduces a new D3X camera that is close to full frame, as we have all heard in the roomers that fly around here theses days, they will ever make another professional quality DX lens.

Think about it – if Nikon has known for some time that a larger format sensor was coming this might explain why they stopped coming out with pro quality DX lenses after the 17-55 in 2004

So tell me, what do you think – is a larger format sensor the end of any chance of more pro quality DX lenses?

If their top pro camera can’t use them I don’t see any reason why Nikon would ever make them
