The issue I have with the new sigma is the lack of HSM, a huge oversight in my opinion. I have a 50 1.8 and the noise/ slow focusing/ lack of full time manual focusing drives me nuts. Shame because the results can be really good.

Just a thought, is the push pull zoom a pain on a bean bag or can you lock it up tight enough that it doesnt move?
