Why are not more Canon dSLR users not grabbing this lens considering
it's incredible range and image quality whilst newer dslrs are so clean with
higher ISO's ?

The optical speed of this big lens is not a question anymore esp. with the
new cameras. Maybe its the wrong colour? No 'IS'? I use it and its great.
Even hand-held. Takes a beating too.

Why is it so under-rated?
