Focus Numerique has some real-world image samples of the Canon 7D up, and I had a look because I'm interested in getting the 7D. I'm also interested in pairing it with a 24-70mm 2.8 L, but now I'm not so sure... If you look at the images on this page, the ones made with the 24-70 look really soft to me. It's not a 7D focus issue, I don't think, because there are other images on the page taken with different lenses that look fine. Tell me what you think. Is this what I can expect from the 24-70? http://thurly.net//7kb
