I shoot: football, soccer & lacrosse & most often games start in late afternoon & end up with stadium lighting. I have a 5 year old Canon 70-200 f2.8 (non IS......wish I spent the $ for IS years ago) & use a monopod. I use 1.4 extender to help when action is further away but am not happy using this in low light conditions. I was thinking about new 200 f2.0 IS & use 1.4 when needed or maybe go with 300 f2.8 - Does anyone have any suggestions? Is there a Sigma or Tamron lens that might do the trick?
