Hi

Apart from the obvious L designation and fast f/1.4 aperture, what are the other key differences between these two lenses?

Is the L lens sharper at f/2.8 than the cheaper lens?
Does the L lens render better contrast and colour?
Does the L lens produce any noticeable vignetting, blurring or chromatic abberration at the edges?

All in all I GUESS it is a better lens (certainly for indoors and low light photography), but are there any significant advantages for landscape work?

Any landscape shots taken with the L lens?

Thanks
