I recently saw the Foveon challenge and the images grabbed me. I then checked out this most civil forum.

I'm a Fuji S3 user (on it's last legs) and a frustrated D300 user (landscape image wise). It seems the AA filter issue and lack of DR is limiting the current Nikon cams for "artistic" use. The D3X is a step in the right direction, but it and larger formats are prohibitively expensive.

So that bring me to the DP2. (I stitch images, so the DP1 is too wide a focal length). There's really something to the Foveon sensor that I have seen from this camera (and the DP1, SD14) on this forum.

Would anyone please direct me to a link (or your own) where I can evaluate RAW images from the DP2. I've checked out the review samples. I would like other images that show typical sky, grass, rocks and or trees images.

My wife will think I've gone totally nuts. One weeks I'm pining for the days when a 4x5 scanning back will be less than 5 grand and then next show up putting a DP2 on my panoramic tripod head....

Many thanks in advance.

Jeff
