Hello all,
I've noticed quite a bit of green/magenta splotches in my shadows… Was doing some color stuff today, and noticed it pretty bad, so I figured I'd use this as a demo here, and see if anyone can shed any insight… So without further ado:

That was processed in ACR, basically just getting the exposure & white balance at a decent spot, and the splotches are very pronounced! Now, if I bump the color noise reduction way up, I can get it pretty sane -

Still noticeable in places, but definitely better. I worry about too much noise reduction softening up shots though… Using SPP also yields better results -

Better, but still not great. Also, SPP is the least workflow-friendly thing I've ever used, so I'd like to avoid it as best I can…
Are there any tricks to avoiding these colored splotches? Seems others have found ways to deal with them…
Any help appreciated!
Thanks, Brian
