Try showing off these sample shots (in the review) to anyone, and they'll realize it was not with any pocket cam. You won't miss the sharpness in the edges and the corners. You won't miss the wide angle eiither (and the sharpness again).

I don't miss the vibrant colors either. You can always post process later, and might as well do it with RAW. I thought the sample pictures were one of the best sample pictures for any camera review. The wide angle had a lot to do with it, and I'm sure a lot of credit goes to the photographer as well who obviously tried to do the camera some justice.

From the review, the camera sounds like a real pain to use. It is definitely not a Point & Shoot. Sounds more like, a Point & Wait & Shoot, but you can expect some great pictures.

Everything sounds so techinically wrong about the cameras, but I'll let the images do the talking. I don't think a 1000 good pictures from other P&S can make up for a handful of eye opening and engaging pictures the DP1 will be able to produce.

I encourage you to look at all the samples if you haven't done so.
