Hello people,

Once again I find myself looking for something that might not exist:

I'd like to create the vignetting effect and I want to do it on-camera, simply because I feel a JPG or even RAW lacks the dynamic headroom to do it convincingly in post.

Browsing the web for toy-style lenses I've noticed that the pronounced vignetting only noticably occurs on medium or large format cameras for obvious reasons, but I'll stick to my Pentax APS-C sizes. (Pentax K-7 soon! Yay!)

Now, I found a single mention on a website about a Natural Density filter that is clear in the center and gradually darkens towards the edges in a circular or oval shape. This is exactly the filter I need for this. In different shades if possible. But I am unable to find anything of the sort anywhere.

So I call upon the knowledge of the users on the dpreview forums. Does anyone know if such a filter exists?

Greetz,
