Hi Peter,

You came up with a good idea in this thread I started earlier (where I was trying to achieve a particular look):

I took your suggestion, and used my big 2m softbox without baffles or diffuser, and with a square of foil in front of the strobe head and got the following:

I'm really pleased with the results, considering it was somewhat of a home made solution (I actually had shadows on the ground that looked like they were coming from multiple light sources, due to the 4 panels of the softbox, but it wasn't too much of a problem to deal with in post).

So, thanks again for a great suggestion! Now all I have to do is shoot the same model with a big parabolic reflector to be able to compare the looks to see which I like better :-)
