Don't sell yourself short! Those are nice single light shots.

The only thing missing is a hair light that separates the subject from the background. For that, you can use a reflector or add another light.

I doubt that the EXD200's have a fan; but, I haven't noticed one way or another. But, I did get a chance to get some three light EXD200 portraits for you as a test. A missionary friend was in town from South Africa and after shooting his portrait with the main lights, he agreed to stay around and let me test the EXD200 system.

Obviously, it's as soft was the huge Octodome lighting. But, the system is very useful and it's the first time I've tried it for portraits. I'm sure it cam be even better with a bit of getting use to their characteristics. You can see that I was using one Softlighter and the small square softbox by the catch light in his eyes.
