I only ordered two of the BVS parts the fake battery's that go in the flash and i hooked them to battery's i all ready had. Using a Nikon SB800 flash you can use a radio shack 7.2 battery that has the same conection to hook to the BVS wire. I have one of them and two 6V battery's i ordered a few years back i have used with Vivitar flash's. With this set up i used two SB800s off camera up on stands with Radio poppers on them and one SB800 on camera to control the off camera flashs. Everything worked great no problems at all i shot many hundreds of shots all night long.
