Greetings Minolta Forum! I am a very happy Nikon owner, but have a friend very interested in the Z1 because of the 10X zoom. This would be his first digital camera. He is a technological savy guy, but his wife is not and the camera would be used by both. Is the Z-1 a good match for them? I believe that they are really "point and shoot" type people that would not probably be taking advantage of all the manual controls. I am NOT a troll and I believe that all the major camera manufacturers have some good products, and I want my friends to be happy with their purchase. I do not want them to get a camera that might be a great camera, but not a good "point and shoot" (like my 5700!)
