he says ( only translation of the most important points regarding the sensor - I do have NO Opinion if this is right or wrong - i only translate )
The Joker of the E-3 is named Trine Full Frame CCD
Based on a Direkt-Sensor-Patent of Kodak, which survived in Line sensors for "HIGH-END"-Scanning-Devices and recently in Digital backs für Large format-Cameras.
...
this technology is ( in the e-3 ) implemented on a Checker-Pattern-Sensor ( without Bayer-Pattern !!! its a Direct-Sensor !!!) . ... frame rates will be high enough ... LiveView is possible ...
Insiders say, enlargements to 150x200 cm ( 59" x 79" ) of E-3 test shots show an image quality which were formerly only possible with scanning cameras.
and that for the price below EOS 40D and Nikon D300...
( only translation of the most important points regarding the sensor - I do have NO Opinion if this is right or wrong - i only translate ).
but one thing - i also think that the fourthirds system is the best system along with medium format, but the poster of that entry praised the 4/3 system a bit too much above all other system - as klauser said. I think, the other systems ( sony, pentax, fuji/nikon, sigma and canon ) are also valid systems.

Despite I love my Olympus cameras and also have 'the last Sony Mavica', I would like to have a Samsung forum here on dpreview because they have interresting new pocket cams.
