I'd like your opinion, please.
The Sunday BIRD started as a forum for Olympus Digital users but soon became a home for bird photographers with any camera. In fact, we now seem to have far more 'other camera' photos being posted.
I am wondering if we should relocate the BIRD to the Open Talk Forum. I can see two advantages:
First, there are so many postings in the Oly SLR Talk Forum that by Sunday evening the BIRD has disappeared from the Page One and by Monday has drifted back to 2nd or third page where it is not seen. On the Open Talk Forum we would stay on Page One longer, perhaps until Tuesday.
Second, I think we would attract new bird photographers who would never think to venture over to the Oly SLR Talk forum.
Third, I think non-Oly users would feel more at home.
Obviously the move would need to be advertised for a time and notice given on the Oly SLR Forum for a time after the shift, if we do it.
So, what do you think? Please respond in your postings or by email to me if you have a lot to say on the subject.
