Sorry if you already have this news, but I don't frequent this forum these days. I was at the SWPP/BPPA convention in the UK this weekend and was pleasently suprised to see Olympus had a stand. Got talking as you do and we got onto the subject of the E3, or as he asked me, why not E2. Anyway, to cut to the chase he handed me a phocopy that reads: "The E1 replacement? An announcement will be made at PMA at the end of February. We really do not know any more than that.
